About Capitol Theatre
The 100+ year old Capitol Theatre located at the heart of the 10 story Kahl Building has gone through a rigorous, loving renovation and brought back to its former glory. The theatre has seen a vast series of events, including films, theatrical performances, lectures, and concerts. Famously hosting Buddy Holly's last tour, 5 days before his death. Conveniently located between Des Moines and Chicago, The Capitol Theatre will soon continue to host and build upon its historic slate of events.
